The Premier League title race is heating up every matchday, and this week, Tottenham have a chance to add a bit of drama to the current standings.

Last week, Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League table was cut to four points after a dramatic 3-2 loss to Manchester United. With Manchester City and Aston Villa winning their games last weekend, Arsenal fans were sent into panic mode.

But now, Tottenham may do the most un-Spursy thing ever. The Spursy thing to do is to lose to Manchester City, but instead, just like they did at the start of the season, what if they go on to beat Manchester City?

Tottenham shocked the Premier League earlier in the season by handing Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side a shocking 2-0 loss. At the time, Thomas Frank was billed as the man to take Tottenham to the promised land, but now, with his job on the line, what if he pulls off a miraculous win?

For the Tottenham fans who want Frank gone, a win for Tottenham may be against their plans, but for Aston Villa and especially Arsenal fans, the title race will become more interesting. Arsenal will go three extra points clear of their fiercest rivals should the Gunners beat Leeds, and for Villa, it’s a step up to second place should they beat Brentford.
