The Emirates Stadium was filled with joy as Arsenal secured a 1-0 win over Newcastle United, with the return of Kai Havertz and Riccardo Calafiori from injury adding to the celebration.

Kai Havertz, sidelined since February due to a hamstring injury, made his comeback in the 85th minute. The German midfielder, who has scored 15 goals this season, the highest since his 2019–20 campaign with Bayer Leverkusen, was met with enthusiastic applause from the home crowd.

Riccardo Calafiori, returning from a knee injury sustained in March, entered the match in the 60th minute. The Italian defender’s aggressive and front-footed play was evident as he stepped in to win possession multiple times during his 30-minute appearance.

Manager Mikel Arteta praised the fans’ reaction to Calafiori’s introduction, stating, “I just love it. When the supporters react like that to one of our own, it’s great. The way you feel it straight away, it’s love, he’s respected, and they’re right behind you.”

The return of these key players provides a significant boost to Arsenal as they prepare for their final match of the season. With Champions League qualification secured, the Gunners aim to finish the season on a high note, buoyed by the reintegration of Havertz and Calafiori into the squad.
