Harry Kane admits Bayern’s 3‑1 loss to Arsenal was tough, but insists there’s no panic, and hints at a possible rematch in the knockout stage.

Harry Kane endured a rare off‑night as Bayern Munich suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 3‑1 to Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Despite a quiet game, the England captain kept his composure and dismissed any thoughts of panic.

“It was a tough game which is kind of what we expected. It was a good battle in the first half which was fairly even,” Kane said. “Second half we didn’t quite have the same energy or intensity and we lost too many duels. It’s our first loss of the season. We don’t want to panic too much about it, but we will learn from it for sure.”

He added confidence that the two sides could meet again later in the tournament: “I’m sure we’ll see them (Arsenal) again in the later stages of the Champions League.”

Arsenal now sit six points clear in the Premier League and three points ahead in the Champions League, with one foot already in the last 16.
