Kane’s absence is a blow for Bayern, who are looking to get back to winning ways after going two Bundesliga games without a win.

They’ll host third-placed Hoffenheim on Sunday, and his presence will be missed.

The England captain has been in top form this season, featuring in all 20 Bundesliga matches and scoring 22 goals. Bayern aren’t sure when Kane will return to action.
