Granit Xhaka Gives Green Light for AC Milan Move

Granit Xhaka has reportedly agreed to join AC Milan, but Bayer Leverkusen is hesitant to let him go, potentially paving the way for a swap deal involving Milan defender Malick Thiaw.

AC Milan is hopeful that Granit Xhaka’s commitment to join the club will persuade Bayer Leverkusen to accept the transfer. Xhaka has given his approval for the move, but Leverkusen is currently unwilling to part ways with the experienced midfielder.

The club has already lost key players like Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich and Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, with Florian Wirtz also expected to join Liverpool as well.

A possible way to make the deal happen could be a swap, with Leverkusen reportedly interested in Milan defender Malick Thiaw.

This potential deal could benefit both clubs, allowing them to address their respective needs. Xhaka’s talent and experience would be a significant addition to Milan’s midfield, and Leverkusen could strengthen its defense with Thiaw.

The transfer talks are ongoing, and Milan is expected to make a formal proposal for Xhaka soon.

If the deal goes through, it would mark a new chapter in Xhaka’s career, bringing him to Serie A and the San Siro stadium. With Xhaka’s determination to join Milan, the Rossoneri will likely push for a resolution in the coming weeks.
