Galatasaray, the Turkish football giants, have made a lucrative offer to Italy’s star goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma. 

The club is eager to negotiate with the goalkeeper, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June 2026. Donnarumma’s future has been uncertain, with talks between him and PSG over a new deal ongoing, but a gap remains between the two parties.

The development has led PSG to consider potential replacements, with Lucas Chevalier of Lille being a possible target. 

According to sources, Donnarumma has appreciated Galatasaray’s attempt but is still weighing his options and hasn’t yet approved a possible move to Turkey. The Italian goalkeeper’s decision will likely depend on various factors, including the club’s ambitions and financial offers.

Manchester City are also keeping a close eye on Donnarumma’s situation. Although they have an agreement to re-sign James Trafford from Burnley, they have requested to be informed about future developments regarding Donnarumma. The Citizens, coached by Pep Guardiola, are known for their strong goalkeeping lineup, and Ederson’s future has also been a topic of discussion.

Galatasaray’s interest in Donnarumma is clear, but the club has also explored other options. They have sounded out Ederson, Manchester City’s goalkeeper, although it’s unclear if the Premier League giants would be willing to let him go.
