Alessio Tacchinardi, former Juventus midfielder, believes Jadon Sancho ‘must be signed’ by the Bianconeri this summer, citing his technical strength and potential.

Alessio Tacchinardi, a former Juventus midfielder, has expressed his enthusiasm for signing Jadon Sancho, the talented winger currently linked with Manchester United.

According to Tacchinardi, Sancho “must be signed” by Juventus this summer, as he believes the Englishman could thrive in Turin. Sancho’s potential and technical ability make him an attractive prospect for the Bianconeri.

Tacchinardi acknowledges that Sancho hasn’t reached his full potential in recent years, possibly due to the weight of expectations or environmental difficulties.

However, he believes that Sancho has all the ingredients to have a great season. The former Juventus midfielder praises Sancho’s technical strength, saying that he can be decisive in attacking midfield roles behind the striker.

Sancho’s profile is certainly intriguing, and Tacchinardi thinks that Juventus could be the perfect fit for him. After a phenomenal spell at Dortmund, Sancho needs to find himself again, and Tacchinardi believes that Juventus could provide the right environment for him to flourish.

Meanwhile, Juventus has confirmed the sale of Portuguese right-back Alberto Costa to Porto for €15 million.

Tacchinardi expressed his disappointment at Costa’s departure, describing him as a pacy player who was adapting well to the team’s demands. He also mentioned that past poor decisions are now affecting the club’s financial situation, with many players having been massively overpaid.

The deal that saw Costa join Porto also involved João Mario joining Juventus. Tacchinardi notes that João Mario is a good player, but he’s sorry to see Costa leave. He also comments on the similarity between the two players’ profiles, with João Mario being slightly more experienced at the top level.

Tacchinardi also weighed in on Randal Kolo Muani, a French forward who spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus. While he acknowledges Kolo Muani’s quality on the pitch, he questions his leadership abilities.

According to Tacchinardi, a striker’s personality can make a big difference for a team, and he’s not convinced that Kolo Muani has the exuberance to drag the team forward.

If Juventus were to sign Kolo Muani, Tacchinardi believes that €35-40 million would be a fair price. However, he wouldn’t recommend signing him for €50 million. Despite his reservations, Tacchinardi hopes that Kolo Muani stays at the club, as he thinks he could form an excellent partnership with Jonathan David.
