Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly decided to bring the entire first-team squad to Seville for the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, including injured players. The German coach believes it is vital for all players to feel involved, regardless of whether they will feature on the pitch.

In a recent report, Flick states that he wants everyone to feel part of the journey, which is the main reason for his decision to take the whole group to Seville, even those who won’t play.

Among those expected to travel are goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, young midfielder Marc Bernal, and defender Alejandro Balde. Though all three are currently sidelined, their inclusion highlights Flick’s commitment to squad unity and morale.

There is a slight possibility that Ter Stegen could receive medical clearance before the final, but even if deemed fit, he is not expected to start. The coaching staff is not willing to take risks with the German shot-stopper after his extended absence. As a result, Wojciech Szczesny is likely to retain his place in goal.
