The FIFA Best Football Awards 2025 ceremony took place in Doha, Qatar, honoring the outstanding performers of the men’s and women’s games.
Ousmane Dembele and Aitana Bonmati were crowned the best players of 2025, following their remarkable performances in the 2024/25 season
Men’s Player of the Year: Ousmane Dembele
Dembele, the French forward, led Paris Saint-Germain to a historic quadruple, including the Champions League title, and was instrumental in their success. He beat out fellow nominees Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to claim the top prize.
Women’s Player of the Year: Aitana Bonmati
Bonmati, the Barcelona and Spain star, won the award for the third consecutive year, solidifying her position as one of the best players in the world. She led Barcelona to a domestic treble and reached the Champions League final.
