Eberechi Eze was the hero once again as Arsenal won 4-1 to secure their spot at the top of the Premier League for yet another week.
Arsenal needed a resounding victory to respond to criticisms about their performances against Brentford and Wolves. The Gunners got just two points from six, and this allowed Manchester City close the gap to two points.
With Manchester City hot on their heels, Arsenal got a much-needed win vs Tottenham, beating their local rivals 4-1 for the second time this season.

The Gunners had plenty of possession, but Dragusin denied a Gyökeres header and a Trossard effort from range.
Gyökeres then hit an attempt that flashed marginally wide, before the match was stopped due to a communication fault for the officials.
Arsenal continued to look menacing once play resumed, although Saliba headed wide from a well-worked corner and Trossard failed to punish a lax Simons pass with a shot that sailed harmlessly off-target.
Arsenal eventually got the lead through Eze, who swiped the ball past Vicario from close range. However, in two minutes, the Gunners were behind as Kolo Muani stole the ball from Declan Rice in the box and slotted it past Raya.
Both teams took a 1-1 draw into the interval, but upon resumption of the second half, Arsenal swiftly took the lead through Gyokeres.
Tottenham thought they had pulled level through Kolo Muani, but his goal was ruled out as he was adjudged to have pushed Gabriel just before he struck his shot.
Things started to fall apart for Tottenham just after that chance as Saka and Eze linked up nicely to create another chance. Although Vicario saved the first shot, Eze was on hand to put it into the net. Eze has now scored more goals against Tottenham (8) than against any other side in his career. He also took his personal tally to five goals in two North London derbies.
Tottenham almost pulled one back when Richarlison flicked the ball from a cross, but Raya was super quick to crawl back to his post and clear the ball off his line. Arsenal then killed off the game with Gyokeres finding his second goal on the night.
Arsenal have now extended their lead to five points, but with a game in hand. Should Manchester City win their next game, they would close the gap to two points once again.
