Chelsea have a long injury list coming into the weekend and Maresca has admitted that the team will have to rely on the younger players.
In his press conference yesterday, Enzo Maresca confirmed that Cole Palmer will be out for 2-3 weeks to help him recover from his groin injury. Maresca also added that Tosin has suffered a calf injury and will be unavailable for selection until after the international break.
Chelsea fans also got more injury news as Fofana is also suffering from a concussion injury, and Lavia and Badiashile may not be fit for the Brighton game.
Given these reports, here’s how Chelsea could line-up.
Sanchez will return in goal after serving his suspension for the red card against Manchester United. In defence, Acheampong is expected to start alongside Chalobah, Reece James and Cucurella.
Caicedo, Enzo and Santos will man the midfield while Estevao, Pedro Neto and Joao Pedro will lead the attack as the team looks to return to winning ways.
