Chelsea’s young winger Estevao continues his impressive form with a brace for Brazil in their 5-0 friendly win over South Korea.

Estevao Willian, Chelsea’s 18-year-old winger, has been making waves with his impressive performances for both club and country. After scoring his first goal for Chelsea in the win against Liverpool, Estevao continued his goalscoring form with a brace for Brazil in their 5-0 friendly win over South Korea.

The young winger started the match and scored twice. His first goal came after a through ball from Bruno Guimaraes, which he calmly finished past the goalkeeper. His second goal was a result of his persistence in winning the ball off Kim-min Jae and firing home.

After the match, Estevao expressed his gratitude for the moment, saying, “I can only be grateful for this moment, good things are coming.” He also praised his team’s growth, stating, “Our team has been growing every day. We are very happy with our development, it’s about playing great games.”

Estevao’s composure in front of the goal was evident, and he credited his coolness for his goalscoring ability. “You have to have that coolness (in front of the goal),” he said. “I was happy, but I can only thank God.”

The young winger was substituted off after 70 minutes, which might have been a relief for Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca, given the demanding schedule ahead. Estevao’s contributions will be crucial for Chelsea, especially with Cole Palmer expected to be out until November.

Estevao will stay with Brazil’s squad for another friendly against Japan on October 14 before heading back to London to prepare for Chelsea’s visit to Nottingham Forest’s City Ground on October 18.
