Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed satisfaction following his team’s 2-1 comeback victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, a result that revitalises their push for European qualification.

Despite trailing after Alex Iwobi’s early goal, Chelsea turned the game around with late strikes from Tyrique George and Pedro Neto.

Maresca highlighted the team’s resilience and the impact of his substitutions, stating, “We tried everything.

For sure, you can always do something better, but we are very happy because this is a tough stadium.”

Reflecting on the season, Maresca acknowledged the challenges faced but emphasised the team’s growth and the importance of maintaining momentum as they aim for a top-five finish.

He also claimed that this is already a good season for the club with the team currently within touching distance of the Champions League spot and a chance to win the Europa Conference League.
