Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca praised his team’s performance in the Club World Cup final, highlighting their strong start and Cole Palmer’s crucial role.

Enzo Maresca had high praise for his Chelsea team after their Club World Cup Final triumph. “No words for the players,” he said. “They deserve it. It’s a good moment.”

Maresca’s words reflected his admiration for the team’s effort and dedication throughout the tournament.

According to Maresca, the key to Chelsea’s win was their strong start. “For me, we won the game in the first 10 minutes,” he said. “In the first 10 minutes, we set the tempo, we set the way we want to play.” Maresca believed that Chelsea’s early performance set the tone for the rest of the game.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, Chelsea managed to maintain their level of performance.

Maresca acknowledged that it wasn’t easy to continue at the same pace for 90 minutes, but he was pleased with the team’s overall effort.

Cole Palmer played a crucial role in Chelsea’s win, and Maresca was thrilled with his performance.

“Absolutely,” he said when asked about Palmer’s contribution. “Today, we found a position for him where there was more space to attack.” Maresca was happy not just with Palmer’s performance but also with the effort put in by all the players.

Looking ahead to the future, Maresca expressed his excitement about the possibilities for Chelsea. However, he jokingly added that he was more excited about the three weeks off that the team would get after the tournament.
