McTominay and Dybala could miss a potential title decider between Napoli and Roma due to injury.
Roma and Napoli face off on Sunday in a game that will have adverse effects on the Serie A title race. Although Inter Milan are pulling away and are 10 points off Napoli in third place and are 13 points over Roma in 6th place, the result from the game between Napoli and Roma could come in handy in the latter stages of the season.
However, in this star-studded game, McTominay and Dybala could be absent. Napoli have a long injury list with De Bruyne, Anguissa and a host of other names out. McTominay has joined the list as he missed the latest Coppa Italia match against Como on Tuesday due to a minor muscle problem.
Although he is a doubt for the game, Napoli are optimistic that they can count on him as the English midfielder is also pushing for a return. Napoli doctors and the coach, Antonio Conte, will assess him today, but McTominay will do anything he can to be part of the Partenopei’s XI at the Stadio Maradona in 24 hours. He has been Napoli’s best player so far, coming up clutch when the Partenopei seemed down.
For Roma, Dybala is a huge doubt. Dybala is reportedly out of the Roma squad to face Napoli on Sunday evening. Gian Piero Gasperini had already said in his press conference earlier today that he had concerns about both Argentine talents in his squad.

Dybala is still struggling with persistent pain in his knee and will not be risked for the big match.
