Ousmane Dembele has called on PSG to maintain an attacking approach against Chelsea despite their first-leg advantage in the Champions League.

Ousmane Dembélé has urged PSG to maintain an aggressive mindset ahead of their Champions League second-leg clash against Chelsea.

PSG hold a commanding advantage after securing a 5–2 victory in the first leg in Paris, leaving Chelsea with a difficult task as the tie shifts to Stamford Bridge.

Despite the comfortable lead, Dembele insists the French champions must not adopt a defensive approach. Instead, he wants the team to remain focused on winning the match rather than protecting their aggregate advantage.

The forward pointed to last season’s quarter-final clash with Aston Villa as a reminder of how quickly games can change, recalling how PSG nearly let a strong position slip after conceding multiple goals in the second leg.

PSG manager Luis Enrique echoed those sentiments, warning that Chelsea are still capable of producing a comeback and that his side must control the tempo of the match.

Enrique emphasised the importance of maintaining their attacking philosophy while also being prepared for difficult moments during the game, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of knockout football.

The Spanish coach also downplayed any distractions surrounding Chelsea’s recent pre-match huddle controversy, insisting that respect remains between both teams as PSG aim to finish the job and secure their place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
