Paris Saint-Germain’s winger Ousmane Dembélé is in a race against time to be fit for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal.
Dembélé, who scored the decisive goal in PSG’s 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium, was substituted in the second half due to a hamstring concern.
PSG manager Luis Enrique provided an update on Dembélé’s condition, stating that the injury is “not serious” but acknowledged that the player is a doubt for the return fixture in Paris.
“It’s not serious, but he might be a doubt for the return match,” Enrique said.
Dembélé himself expressed optimism about his recovery, assuring fans, “It’s going to be fine.”
The French international has been instrumental in PSG’s Champions League campaign, contributing significantly to their attacking prowess. His potential absence could be a significant blow to the team’s aspirations of reaching the final.
The second leg is scheduled to take place at the Parc des Princes, where PSG will aim to secure their spot in the final.
