Freefalling Crystal Palace face a renewed Chelsea who are finding their feet under Liam Rosenior.

Crystal Palace and Chelsea meet again after the 0-0 draw in the opening weekend of the Premier League.

Both teams have seen impressive highs and despicable lows this season. However, while Chelsea are slowly finding their feet under new coach Liam Rosenior, everything is tearing to shreds at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace’s loss to Sunderland last week meant that the Eagles are without a win in their last 7 Premier League games.

The Eagles also have to deal with the departure of their captain and best defender Marc Guehi to Manchester City and the potential departure of striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

For Chelsea, things are slowly turning around. After beating Pafos 1-0 in the UCL, Chelsea have now won three of their four opening games under Liam Rosenior.

Team News

The biggest news ahead of the match is Cole Palmer’s perceived desire to leave Chelsea for Manchester United.

While the club or player are yet to address the rumors, Liam Rosenior has said that Palmer will be available for the Crystal Palace game as well as Reece James. However, Jorgensen is said to have sustained an injury during the game against Pafos.

In a massive boost for the hosts, Ismaila Sarr is available for selection after successfully helping Senegal claim their second Africa Cup of Nations title.
