The 21-year-old Spanish defender has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal and has been given permission by Valencia to join the Gunners. Mosquera will provide competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes at center-back and can also play at right-back.
Mosquera has made 90 appearances for Valencia, including 37 starts in La Liga last season, showcasing his defensive skills and ability to perform under pressure. His signing will help fill the gap left by Takehiro Tomiyasu’s departure and add depth to Arsenal’s defensive lineup.
The transfer is reportedly worth an initial £13 million, with potential add-ons increasing the total value.
Arsenal’s pre-season tour schedule includes matches against AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore, followed by a match against Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong.
