Como have made it clear that Cesc Fabregas won’t be leaving the club
Como owner Mirwan Suwarso has confirmed that the club has refused to let coach Cesc Fabregas join Inter Milan, despite Inter’s efforts to sign him as a replacement for Simone Inzaghi.
In an official press release, Suwarso stated that Como has “communicated directly” to Inter that Fabregas is going nowhere.
Fabregas himself had previously hinted at staying with Como, citing his commitment to the club’s long-term project. He expressed his happiness with the current setup, where he shares the same vision and goals as the president, allowing him to work freely.
The Spaniard emphasized his belief in Como’s ambitions, stating that he started with the club thinking of a long-term project and doesn’t want to end his career at a club with short-term plans.
With Inter’s interest in Fabregas seemingly blocked by Como, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.
Fabregas’ comments suggest he’s content with his role at Como and is focused on achieving success with the club. As the situation stands, Fabregas looks set to continue leading Como, with the club’s owner determined to keep him at the helm.
