Things at Stamford Bridge are quickly going from bad to worse as Chelsea lost for the second time in three games.

Chelsea deservedly lost 2-1 to Atalanta in the UCL as they were slow, clueless and out of pocket.

The game was a cold affair between both teams as they didn’t play at the levels fans would’ve expected but on a day that Atalanta were bad, Chelsea were worse.

The Blues took the lead through Joao Pedro in the first half but just like Atalanta have done since Palladino took over, they switched on in the second half.

Scamacca pulled the La Dea level through a header and from then, Chelsea slowly let the game get away from them and they were punished minutes away from stoppage time by De Ketelaere who fired past Sanchez to give Atalanta the lead.

Chelsea almost drew level in the dying minutes of the game but Joao Pedro’s shot couldn’t beat the goalkeeper. Chelsea are now out of the top 8 and have a lot of work to do if they are to make it to the next round of the UCL.
