Find out the teams that have qualified for the Club World Cup and how they qualified
The FIFA Club World Cup is back and bigger than ever, featuring 32 teams from around the globe competing for a brand-new trophy and a share of the expanded $1 billion prize pool. The tournament is set to kick off on June 15, 2025, and will run for four weeks, culminating in the final on July 13, 2025.
How Teams Qualify
Teams from all six world soccer governing confederations: UEFA (Europe), CONMEBOL (South America), AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), Concacaf (North & Central America), and OFC (Oceania), will be represented at the expanded 2025 Club World Cup.
The qualification process varies by confederation:
UEFA (Europe) and CONMEBOL (South America)
Qualification is based on performances in their premier club competitions over the past four seasons. Each year’s winner secures an automatic spot, with remaining places going to the highest-performing teams.
AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa) and Concacaf (North & Central America)
Winners of the last four editions of each continent’s top club competition earn a spot.
OFC (Oceania)
The highest-ranked team among the last four OFC Champions League winners gets the nod.
Host Nation (USA)
Inter Miami has been nominated to complete the lineup.
