Chelsea face Flamengo in the Club World Cup, with the Blues looking to continue their winning streak and top their group.

Chelsea is set to take on Brazilian side Flamengo in their second group game of the Club World Cup.

After a 2-0 win over LAFC in their opening match, the Blues are looking to build on their momentum and secure a spot at the top of their group. Flamengo, who beat ES Tunis in their opener, will provide a tough test for Enzo Maresca’s side, and the presence of ex-Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will add an extra layer of intrigue to the match.

Chelsea is expected to field a strong lineup, with potential debuts for Mamadou Sarr and Andrey Santos.

Sarr, a 19-year-old centre-back, was on the bench for the LAFC match and could start or come off the bench against Flamengo. Santos, who joined Chelsea permanently earlier this month, was also on the bench against LAFC and could make his debut in midfield.

Noni Madueke is expected to play on the left flank again, despite preferring the right side, as Chelsea continues to work on signing a right-footed left-winger. Liam Delap could start ahead of Nicolas Jackson, which would represent the £30 million recruit’s first start for the Blues.

Predicted Chelsea XI (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez; Neto, Palmer, Madueke; Delap
