Chelsea are demanding a staggering £100m value for Nicolas Jackson, with AC Milan interested in signing the striker despite his hefty price tag.

Chelsea has reportedly set a £100m price tag on Nicolas Jackson, making him one of the most expensive players in the club’s history.

The Blues are under no pressure to sell the striker, thanks to his contract situation, which still has eight years remaining. Jackson’s future at Stamford Bridge has been called into question following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, with the latter impressing on his full debut at the Club World Cup.

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Jackson, but the Italian giants would have to break the bank to prise him away from Chelsea.

Despite the hefty price tag, Milan is optimistic about striking a deal due to Jackson’s willingness to make the switch. Intermediaries have reportedly informed Milan that Jackson could be tempted by the prospect of playing at San Siro next season.

Jackson’s role at Chelsea has been diminishing, with him being a second-half substitute in the Club World Cup semi-final win over Fluminense.

João Pedro’s impressive performance has likely cemented his place in the starting lineup for the final against Paris Saint-Germain. With Jackson’s contract situation and Chelsea’s valuation, the transfer saga is set to be an intriguing one.

The Senegal international has produced impressive numbers for Chelsea, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists in 81 appearances. However, his form has been inconsistent, and Chelsea’s valuation of £100m may be prohibitive for potential suitors. If Chelsea refuses to budge on their valuation, Milan may be priced out of a move.
