Chelsea are set to host Djurgarden at Stamford Bridge for the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final, holding a commanding 4-1 lead from the first leg in Stockholm.

Goals from Jadon Sancho, Noni Madueke, and a Nicolas Jackson brace provided manager Enzo Maresca’s side with a strong advantage.

Manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that the squad is at full strength for the upcoming match. Spanish teenager Marc Guiu, Chelsea’s top scorer in the competition with six goals, may return after recovering from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for three months. However, Maresca is expected to rotate the squad, considering the upcoming crucial Premier League match against Newcastle.

Maresca views the Conference League as an opportunity to build a winning mentality and re-establish Chelsea among football’s elite. Winning this competition would make Chelsea the first club to win all four major European competitions.

Djurgarden, on the other hand, arrive in poor form with only three wins in their last ten games. Despite the uphill task, they will be aiming for a heroic comeback.

Chelsea have their eyes set on the final, and it is expected that they quell any hopes of a comeback from Djurgarden in this second leg. The scoreline from the first leg makes it an uphill task for Djurgarden, who come to Stamford Bridge as underdogs, giving the Blues a solid advantage to progress to the finals.
