Chelsea is ready to part ways with Axel Disasi, with Milan and Roma among the interested clubs.
Axel Disasi’s future at Chelsea seems uncertain, with the French defender expected to leave in January 2026. Enzo Maresca has made it clear that Disasi is no longer part of his technical plans, and the club has offered him to various European clubs.
Disasi, 27, has been training separately from the main squad as Chelsea aims to reduce their wage bill and make room for new signings. The defender is willing to take a pay cut to secure a move and regain regular playing time.
Milan and Roma are among the Italian clubs interested in Disasi, with both looking for experienced defensive profiles at manageable costs. Disasi’s familiarity with Milanello from his time at Monaco could facilitate a move to Milan.
Other clubs, including Lyon, Newcastle United, and West Ham United, have also expressed interest, although no negotiations are currently advanced. A loan deal is a possible option, which could appeal to interested clubs.
Disasi joined Chelsea in 2023 for €45 million but has struggled to make an impact, making 61 appearances and scoring five goals. Chelsea is looking to offload him to make way for younger players.
