Chelsea will travel to Lincoln City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

After Grimsby Town’s famous penalty shootout win against Manchester United, the full draw for the third round of Carabao cup action took place and Chelsea were handed an away trip to Lincoln City.

The Blues have faced the Imps on eight occasions, with the last meeting between the two clubs taking place all the way back in 1911.

Ties in the Carabao Cup third round will be split across two midweeks due to clubs participating in the Champions League and Europa League.

The first set of matches will be played across the week commencing 15 September. The second will be held in the week commencing 22 September.
