Chelsea have given the number 10 shirt to Cole Palmer ahead of next season.
Chelsea Football Club announced on their website that Palmer will see his shirt number changed ahead of the Club World Cup. Palmer, who was sporting the number 20, will wear number 10 in the Club World Cup.
The number 10 was formerly worn by Mykhailo Mudryk who has been battling doping allegations since the start of the year. Mudryk has been out of action and his situation is not fully clear as investigations are still undergoing.
Chelsea have moved the number 10 to their talisman Cole Palmer ahead of the Club World Cup. He may potentially wear it in the new season.
Chelsea have also confirmed that new signing Liam Delap will wear the number 9 in the new season. Delap who just completed a £30m move to the club will bolster their attack and will join the club in the Club World Cup.
