Chelsea and Arsenal will play their third round Carabao Cup fixtures towards the end of September.

Third round action in the Carabao Cup begins on the 16th of September with Brentford hosting Aston Villa at the Gtech Stadium.  

Chelsea and Arsenal had learnt about their opponents last week but the dates for both fixtures were yet to be decided.  

However,  following the confirmation of UCL games which begin on the 16th of August, Chelsea and Arsenal will play their third round fixtures towards the end of October as confirmed by the FA.

Chelsea will travel to Lincoln City on the 23rd of September while Arsenal’s clash with Port Vale is set for September 24th.
