Chelsea dropped points in a crabby 0-0 draw against Bournemouth

Chelsea hoped to bounce back from their 3-1 loss against Leeds during the week but Bournemouth refused to allow the Blues have their way as both teams played out a 0-0 draw.

Chelsea weren’t exactly brilliant as they failed to create chances and even registered a low XG in the 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth took the lead through Semenyo in the early stages of the game but his goal was ruled out for offside. The early goal even though offside seemed to have shocked Chelsea as they allowed Bournemouth walk over them.

Sanchez was called into action multiple times and he was the main reason the game ended without Chelsea conceding.

Chelsea failed to register a shot on target in the first half.

In the second half, they tried to turn the tide around but Bournemouth’s defence held strong. Neto called Petrović into action while Garnacho’s header skimmed off the bar.

It was a tough day for Chelsea and they walked away from the Vitality stadium sharing points with Bournemouth.
