Arsenal will host Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, while Cardiff faces Chelsea, Man City hosts Brentford, and Newcastle takes on Fulham.
The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw has been made, and Arsenal will face Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners secured their place in the last eight with a 2-0 win over Brighton, thanks to goals from Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka.
Cardiff City, the only non-Premier League side remaining in the competition, will host Chelsea at the Cardiff City Stadium. The Bluebirds beat Wrexham 2-1 to book their spot in the quarter-finals.
Holders Newcastle United will face Fulham at St James’ Park, after beating Tottenham 2-0 in their fourth-round tie. Fabian Schar and Nick Woltemade scored the goals for the Magpies.
Manchester City will host Brentford at the Etihad Stadium, following their 3-1 win over Swansea. Pep Guardiola’s side will look to progress to the semi-finals.
The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place the week commencing December 15. Arsenal are looking to win their first League Cup title since 1993.
Crystal Palace eliminated Liverpool from the competition, beating them 3-0 at Anfield. The Reds have now lost six of their last seven games in all competitions.
