Rejection comes after the Manchester United captain turned down similar interest from Al-Hilal earlier in the summer
Bruno Fernandes has rejected an approach from Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
The Manchester United maestro has had serious interest from clubs in the Middle East this summer.
Al Nassr made contact with Fernandes only through intermediaries and did not table a formal offer to United.
The approach comes after an earlier attempt this summer by Al-Hilal, who were willing to offer Fernandes a significant salary increase and had prepared a £100m bid to lure him away from United.
Despite the prospect of a 3x salary increase, the 30-year-old has no intention of leaving Old Trafford this summer.
Fernandes is under contract at United until 2027, with an option for an additional year, and is a central figure in manager Ruben Amorim’s plans.
He has been in top form during the club’s tour of the United States, scoring three goals in three games.
Responding to his rejection of a move to Al-Hilal earlier in the summer, Fernandes said: “I spoke with Ruben Amorim, who really tried to talk me out of it.
“I spoke to the club, who said they weren’t willing to sell me, only if I wanted to leave.
“From my side, it was a very ambitious proposal, the president was a fantastic person. I never talked about the money, it ended up coming up later, with my agent.
“I had to make the decision as a family and understand what I wanted for my future. That was the question my wife asked, what my professional goals would be. At no point did she say yes or no, she always supported me and put my professional side first.
“I simply want to stay at the highest level, playing in the big competitions, because I still feel capable of that.
“I want to continue to be happy and do what I love most. I’m still very passionate about this sport. It’s my way of seeing football and I’m happy with my decision.”
