Borussia Dortmund is considering a January loan deal for Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb, who is seeking more playing time.

Borussia Dortmund is looking to strengthen its wing position in the January transfer window, with Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb emerging as a top target. The 22-year-old Norwegian winger has been struggling to get regular playing time at City, featuring just 15 times this season.

Bobb’s agent has confirmed that several clubs are interested in the young talent, with Dortmund, Crystal Palace, and other Premier League clubs vying for his signature. Manchester City is open to a loan deal, given Bobb’s contract runs until 2029.

Dortmund’s interest in Bobb is driven by his versatility, as he can play on both flanks and as a central number 10. This would provide the German club with much-needed flexibility in their attacking lineup.

A loan deal seems the most likely outcome, as Dortmund is unlikely to commit to a permanent transfer. The financial implications of a full transfer are too significant, making a loan the most feasible option.

Bobb has shown glimpses of his talent, with one assist in 15 appearances for City this season. With Antoine Semenyo potentially leaving Bournemouth, City may be willing to let Bobb go on loan to gain experience.
