Borussia Dortmund is reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, who has been an outstanding performer for the Eagles.

Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix has caught the attention of Borussia Dortmund, according to French reports.

The Bundesliga giants are looking to improve their defense and have identified Lacroix as a potential target.

Lacroix joined Palace last summer for £15.2 million and has been a key player for the team, reuniting with manager Oliver Glasner, whom he previously worked with in the Bundesliga. He seamlessly replaced Joachim Andersen and played a huge role in Palace’s successful campaign.

While Palace is likely to reject any advances for Lacroix, a big offer from Dortmund could tempt the Eagles to consider selling. However, losing Lacroix and Marc Guehi, another target for potential suitors, would be a significant blow to Palace’s European campaign preparations.

If Dortmund is willing to offer a big fee, Palace might consider selling Lacroix after just one year, potentially making a significant profit.
