Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Max Eberl, has spoken about the club’s contract talks with star players Harry Kane and Dayot Upamecano.

Eberl emphasized that the club wants to keep both players, describing Kane as an “exceptional player” and a “true leader.” Kane has been a key player for Bayern since joining the club, and Eberl is keen to extend his contract.

Eberl revealed that Kane has expressed his desire to win titles with Bayern and is happy to play for the club. “We want to continue doing that with him for a long time to come,” Eberl said. The sporting director is confident that the club can reach an agreement with Kane, who is a key player in Bayern’s plans.

Regarding Upamecano, Eberl acknowledged that the defender has attracted interest from other clubs. However, Bayern is keen to extend Upamecano’s contract and is working to convince him to stay. “We’re definitely want to keep them both,” Eberl said.

As Bayern prepares to face Pafos in the Champions League, Eberl is focused on the task at hand. While many expect Bayern to win the match, Eberl is aware that Pafos will be a tough opponent. “Everyone expects us to win in Cyprus,” he said. “We want to win there, no doubt. It’s always a bit more difficult away from home.”

Eberl emphasized that Bayern needs to bring its qualities onto the pitch, including energy and dominance, to win the match. If the team can do that, Eberl is confident that they will secure a positive result.
