Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Max Eberl, praises Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson’s scoring record as the club nears a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Bayern Munich are on the verge of signing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, with the club’s sporting director, Max Eberl, expressing admiration for the player’s abilities.

According to reports, the loan deal is almost finalized, with Bayern set to cover Jackson’s full salary and pay a loan fee of up to €11.5 million. An obligation to buy is expected to be included in the deal, which would make Jackson a permanent fixture at the Allianz Arena.

Eberl highlighted Jackson’s impressive track record, saying, “If we find a player who’s physically ready, who scores goals, provides assists, and already has experience, then we’d love to bring him in on loan.” Jackson’s statistics support Eberl’s enthusiasm, with 30 goals in 81 appearances for Chelsea.

His ability to score and provide assists aligns with Bayern’s needs, making him a suitable addition to their squad.

The potential signing of Jackson is seen as a good move for Bayern, given the competition from other top clubs. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and AC Milan have reportedly shown interest in Jackson, but Bayern’s determination and willingness to meet Chelsea’s demands may have given them an edge in the negotiations.

Jackson’s move to Bayern would also make sense given his current situation at Chelsea.

With the arrival of new forwards like Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, Jackson has slipped down the pecking order under manager Enzo Maresca. A loan move with an obligation to buy would provide Chelsea with a guaranteed fee while allowing Jackson to join a top-tier club.

The deal would be a significant boost for Bayern’s attack, providing depth and quality behind Harry Kane. Jackson’s versatility and goal-scoring ability would make him a valuable asset for Vincent Kompany’s side.
