Bayern Munich has slammed the door on Liverpool’s interest in Michael Olise, labeling the French winger “untouchable” as they plan a long-term contract extension for the star.
Recent reports suggest that Liverpool are once again keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old. This isn’t exactly a new romance; the Merseyside club has been an admirer of Olise since his days at Crystal Palace, and his meteoric rise since moving to Munich in July 2024 has only intensified their interest.
However, sources from Germany have been quick to set the record straight: Bayern has absolutely no intention of entertaining offers for their star winger.
While Olise is already locked into a contract that runs until 2029, Bayern’s hierarchy is reportedly planning to go a step further. Although formal negotiations haven’t started yet, the club fully intends to offer him an improved, long-term deal when the timing is right.
For his part, the player seems perfectly content with life in Bavaria. Olise is reportedly happy at the club and is in no rush to force a move or a new contract, showing a willingness to wait while the board handles more immediate business.
Olise has been an absolute revelation in the Bundesliga, chipping in with an incredible 10 goals and 13 assists in just 23 games. Those are elite numbers that justify his “untouchable” status, and they represent a level of creative output that would be nearly impossible to replace in the current market, regardless of how much Liverpool might be willing to pay.
