Bayern Munich are hopeful that Serge Gnabry will return to action soon after missing Saturday’s win over Borussia Dortmund due to a minor injury.
Bayern Munich are optimistic about the swift return of Serge Gnabry, who missed Saturday’s 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund due to a minor injury.
The attacker picked up a knock in the final training session ahead of the game, but fortunately, it doesn’t appear to be serious.
Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl, reassured fans that Gnabry’s injury is not too serious. “It’s not too serious with Serge. In the final training session on Friday, he felt a slight twinge in his adductor, a minor pain,” Eberl said. “Nothing is damaged, nothing dramatic. So he should be available again relatively quickly.”
Gnabry himself described his condition as “good” when asked after the Dortmund game, adding to the optimism about his return. The 30-year-old has been in top form this season, and his absence was felt in the win over Dortmund.
With the Champions League match against Club Brugge looming, Bayern are hopeful that Gnabry will be back in action soon.
