Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest’s talented defender Murillo, with Chelsea also in the mix for the 23-year-old’s services.

Bayern Munich is keeping a close eye on Nottingham Forest’s star defender Murillo, according to reports. The 23-year-old Brazilian is considered a top target for the German champions as they look to strengthen their central defense.

Murillo’s contract with Nottingham Forest runs until 2029 and doesn’t include a release clause, making him a pricey prospect for any interested clubs.

Bayern Munich is aware that signing Murillo would be a costly affair, but they believe he’s worth the investment. The club is looking to bolster their defense, with Dayot Upamecano’s contract extension uncertain and Kim Min-jae potentially being sold.

Other top clubs, including Chelsea, are also reportedly interested in Murillo. Chelsea’s interest in the defender adds to the competition, making it challenging for Bayern Munich to secure his services.

Also, Marc Guéhi and Nico Schlotterbeck are on Bayern’s radar, with Guéhi being pursued by Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Murillo has been an integral part of Nottingham Forest’s lineup, and his departure would be a significant loss for the club. However, with his talent and market value estimated at €55 million, it’s likely that Forest would consider selling him if the right offer comes in.
