Bayern Munich has completed the signing of 17-year-old Ecuadorian center-back Virgilio Olaya from SD Aucas, with plans to loan him out for further development.
Olaya, a 1.88m center-back, is expected to be loaned out to gain experience and develop his skills.
Bayern Munich is eager to further his development, and he will likely be part of the club’s Red&Gold Football venture, a partnership with LAFC.
At just 17 years old, Olaya has already made five appearances for SD Aucas in the Ecuadorian top flight. He has also represented Ecuador’s U-17 national team.
