Bayern Munich confirms Kingsley Coman is nearing a move to Al Nassr, with final talks pending, while the club’s pursuit of Nick Woltemade remains stalled.

Bayern Munich has confirmed that Kingsley Coman is close to joining Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, with talks between the two clubs in the final stages.

According to Bayern’s sports director, Christoph Freund, while the deal is not yet finalised, it’s likely that Coman will make the move to Al Nassr soon. Coman has been with Bayern for a decade, winning numerous titles, including the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

The 29-year-old French winger has been a key player for Bayern, and his departure will be felt by the team. Vincent Kompany acknowledged that Coman’s exit will be emotional, especially following Thomas Müller’s departure to Vancouver Whitecaps after 25 years at Bayern.

However, Kompany emphasised the importance of focusing on the current squad and working towards success.

Reports suggest that Coman will sign a three-year deal with the Saudi club, earning around €22 million per year. This move would mark a significant change for Coman, who has played for Bayern since 2015 and has made 339 appearances for the club, scoring 72 goals.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s pursuit of Nick Woltemade remains stalled. Stuttgart has rejected the latest Bayern bid for the talented forward, who wants to join the German champions. Freund stated that there has been no development in the negotiations and that Stuttgart’s rejection of the bid means that Woltemade will continue to play for his current club.
