Bayern Munich Beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-1 in Kane’s Absence

Bayern Munich were without their talisman Harry Kane who was out due to an injury but it didn’t stop them from beating Borussia Mönchengladbach

Bayern Munich secured a comfortable 4-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach, extending their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table to 14 points.

The match, played at the Allianz Arena, saw Bayern dominate possession and create numerous chances, with Luis Diaz scoring the opener in the 33rd minute.

Diaz’s goal was followed by Laimer’s goal just at the stroke of halftime.

The second-half opened with a red card for Gladbach’s Rocco Reitz, who fouled Nicolas Jackson, allowing Jamal Musiala to score from the penalty spot. Bayern’s dominance continued, with Jackson scoring the fourth goal, while Wael Mohya scored a consolation for Gladbach late on

The win marks Bayern’s fifth consecutive Bundesliga victory, solidifying their position at the top of the table. Meanwhile, Gladbach remains in a precarious position, just three points above the relegation play-off spot.

Bayern Munich were impressive despite playing without their star striker Harry Kane who was ruled out due to injury.

As Bayern Munich prepare for their next challenge where they face Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League, the team would be hoping that they can play as well as they did today if Kane isn’t fit ahead of that game.
