Bayern Munich delivered a commanding performance to claim a 3–0 victory over Mainz at the Allianz Arena, moving within touching distance of their 34th Bundesliga title. 

Goals from Leroy Sané, Michael Olise, and Eric Dier secured the win, showcasing Bayern’s attacking prowess. 

Despite the triumph, Bayern’s title celebrations are on hold, as Bayer Leverkusen also secured a win, maintaining the eight-point gap with three games remaining.

A victory against RB Leipzig in their next match would clinch the title for Bayern. 

However, Bayern will face Leipzig without their top scorer, Harry Kane, who received his fifth yellow card of the season, resulting in a suspension. 

Kane, who has netted 24 league goals, expressed frustration over the booking, which came after he delayed returning the ball following a foul.

Kane’s absence will be a big blow to Bayern, but Kompany will hope that his team can show up and show out against Leipzig, claiming the trophy with two games to go.
