Bayer Leverkusen has officially announced the signing of Malik Tillman from PSV, with the 23-year-old attacking midfielder agreeing to a contract until 2030.

Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signing of Malik Tillman from PSV.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed to a contract that will keep him at the club until 2030. Leverkusen reportedly paid €35 million to secure Tillman’s services, making him one of the club’s most expensive signings ever.

Tillman is a dynamic player who can play in midfield as a number 10 or number 8. He has great ability and is known for being very dangerous in front of goal. Bayer Leverkusen’s managing director for sport, Simon Rolfes, is thrilled with the signing, saying that Tillman’s style suits the club’s playing philosophy perfectly.

“With Malik Tillman, we have gained another player who has great ability and is very dangerous in front of goal,” Rolfes said. “He can play in midfield either as a number 10 or as a number 8. Malik is an absolute top signing for us.” Rolfes believes that Tillman will bring a new boost to the team’s attacking game with his dynamism.

Tillman moved to PSV permanently in 2024 after loan spells with Rangers and PSV. He has previously played for Greuther Fürth and Bayern Munich.
