Defending Champions, Liverpool have been knocked out of the Uefa Champions League after they were defeated at Anfield by Atletico Madrid.
Liverpool looked to inspire a comeback like they did last season at the Anfield against Barcelona as they got a goal just before half-time.
They doubled their lead just shortly after through Roberto Firmino but a mistake by Adrian saw Atletico’s Llorente grab a goal.
Llorente then grabbed a second to put Atletico in charge of the tie before substitute, Alvaro Morata got a late goal to seal a comeback win for Atletico.
