Aston Villa will host Fulham at Villa Park this weekend, eyeing a crucial victory to keep their Champions League aspirations alive.

Currently seventh in the Premier League, Villa are just three points adrift of the top five. Depending on other results, a win against Fulham could propel them into the coveted Champions League spots.

Unai Emery’s side has been formidable at home, winning their last five Premier League matches against London clubs, including Fulham, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, and West Ham United.

This impressive run underscores Villa’s dominance against teams from the capital.

Ollie Watkins has been instrumental in Villa’s attacking prowess, contributing significantly with goals and assists throughout the season.

His partnership with Morgan Rogers, who has also been influential in midfield, will be key to unlocking Fulham’s defense. However, Villa will need to be cautious of Fulham’s attacking threats, particularly Rodrigo Muniz, who has been in fine form recently.
