Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta provides updates on Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Ben White ahead of the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the injury status of three key players ahead of the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.

Bukayo Saka is still sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained against Leeds United last month, but Arteta revealed that the winger is working hard to return to the pitch as quickly as possible.

There is positive news on William Saliba, who trained with the team after his ankle issue against Liverpool. Arteta said that a late decision will be made about Saliba’s availability for the match against Nottingham Forest. This development is welcome for Arsenal, who have struggled with injuries this season.

Ben White has also returned to team training, and Arteta confirmed that he is okay. White’s return would provide additional options for Arteta in defence. With Saka out, Arsenal will need their other players to step up and make an impact.

The match against Nottingham Forest will be a crucial test for Arsenal, who face a busy schedule in the coming weeks. They will play Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League opener, followed by matches against Manchester City and Newcastle United in the league. A win against Nottingham Forest would provide much-needed momentum for the team.

Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, have a new manager in Ange Postecoglou, who is known for his attacking brand of football. This could play into Arsenal’s hands, as they will need to assert their dominance from the start. Postecoglou’s team will likely be aggressive and look to create scoring opportunities, which could leave them vulnerable on the counter.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, and a win against Nottingham Forest would be a significant step in the right direction.
