Mikel Arteta says Arsenal’s consistency across competitions has built belief within the squad as they remain in contention for four major trophies.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes his side’s sustained level of performance this season should give the players confidence that something special is within reach as the campaign enters its most crucial period.

The Gunners are firmly in the title race, sitting six points clear at the top of the Premier League standings and unbeaten in their last 10 matches across all competitions.

Arsenal have also been flawless in Europe, topping the Champions League group table with six wins from six matches. In addition, they have progressed to the FA Cup fourth round and secured a dramatic 3-2 away victory over Chelsea in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest, Arteta stressed that belief comes from consistency rather than words. He pointed to Arsenal’s performances across 32 games as evidence that the team is building genuine momentum.

The Spaniard highlighted the win at Stamford Bridge as a key moment, suggesting it should reinforce the squad’s conviction. However, he was quick to caution that sustained success depends on maintaining standards in every match.

Arsenal head into the fixture after a draw with reigning champions Liverpool, but Arteta warned against underestimating Nottingham Forest, who sit 17th in the table but have improved since appointing Sean Dyche in October.
