Arsenal is looking to strengthen their attack this summer, and Paris Saint-Germain’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is on their radar. The Georgian winger has impressed with PSG, scoring three times against Chelsea in the Champions League last 16.
Kvaratskhelia’s camp is reportedly open to discussing a move to Arsenal, despite PSG viewing him as a key player and near-unsellable star. Arsenal is planning a significant squad reshuffle, potentially involving senior player exits to accommodate new signings under the Premier League’s Squad Cost Ratio regulations.
Mikel Arteta is keen on bolstering the attack, and Kvaratskhelia’s creativity and skill could elevate the squad. However, securing the 25-year-old won’t be easy, given PSG’s stance and his own expressed desire to succeed with the European champions.
Kvaratskhelia’s impressive form includes 12 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances this season. His versatility and attacking prowess make him an attractive target for Arsenal, who are also eyeing Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, though the asking price is steep at over €100m.
PSG are unlikely to entertain low offers, with Kvaratskhelia’s value estimated between €97.8M and €119.5M. Arsenal’s interest comes as they aim to maintain their title push, currently seven points clear of Manchester City.
The potential deal is complex, mirroring Kvaratskhelia’s previous move from Napoli to PSG. Arsenal might need to consider selling senior players to fund the transfer, with Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard potentially departing.
