Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown in the January transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has impressed with his defensive tenacity and attacking flair, making him a potential target for the Gunners. Brown’s versatility as both an overlapping full-back and a left-sided centre-back could provide vital depth and tactical flexibility for Arsenal.

Brown’s progress has been impressive, having emerged from the lower leagues to become a key player for Frankfurt. He has made 32 Bundesliga appearances for the club, contributing three assists and helping his side keep 12 clean sheets. His market value has soared to around €22 million, with Frankfurt valuing him at €25-30 million.

However, Arsenal will face stiff competition from Manchester City, who are also reportedly exploring a move for Brown. The Citizens are said to be looking for a rotation partner for Joško Gvardiol, and Brown’s profile fits the bill.
